About SHTDLC

Shanghai Tsung-Dao Lee Center (hereinafter referred to as “SHTDLC”) was officially registered and established in January 2024. It is a private non-enterprise entity in the science and technology category, with the Shanghai Pudong New Area Science and Technology and Economy Commission as its competent business authority, and its registered address at No. 1 Lisuo Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai.

With the fundamental scientific goal of “discovering the fundamental laws governing the formation and evolution of states of matter in extreme cosmic environments,” SHTDLC conducts organized research from three dimensions—”passive,” “active,” and “emergent”—by leveraging major scientific facilities and adopting the paradigm of large-scale scientific research. It carries out interdisciplinary and innovative research at the frontiers of global science; builds a highly sophisticated international talent team, striving to create a global talent hub; and establishes a precision machining workshop to strengthen the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, aiming to become a world-class scientific research institution at the earliest opportunity.
